St. John’s Welcomes New 4K Teacher, Emily Duchow
St. John’s Lutheran School is excited to welcome Emily Duchow as the newest member of our teaching staff, joining us as our 4K teacher for the 2025–2026 school year.
Emily brings a unique combination of academic excellence, leadership, and heartfelt care to our school community. Originally from Brillion, Wisconsin, Emily graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Lakeland University in Sheboygan, where she was also a standout volleyball player. She played all four years and served as team captain during her senior year, demonstrating her strong leadership and team-building skills both on and off the court.
Furthering her passion for helping others, Emily earned her master’s degree in Care and Counseling from Columbia International University in South Carolina. Her background in psychology and counseling aligns beautifully with our mission to support the spiritual, emotional, and academic growth of every child.
Outside the classroom, Emily enjoys a good cup of coffee and connecting with others—traits that are sure to make her a warm and welcoming presence in our school family.
St. John’s is truly blessed to have Emily join us in our Christ-centered mission. Her faith, enthusiasm, and nurturing spirit will be a wonderful blessing to our youngest learners and their families.
Welcome to the family, Miss Duchow!
