This event has already occurred
During court proceedings, there will ocassionally be a recess, a respite, from the trial. That is what we have on Maundy Thursday as Lent draws to a close and before the verdict on Good Friday and and vindication on Easter Sunday.
Pastor Kuske will preach the sermon and remind us of the respite Jesus has given to us in his Lord's Supper.
